- Most Memorable Flight One of the most memorable flights I have ever had occured on the practice day leading up to JoeyGlide '05. What I thought would just be a local flight, to get back into the saddle, turned into a cross country flight that I pair flew with another glider. It was a beautiful flight that ended perfectly, as we both caught a thermal that took us within glide range of the airfield, just as the conditions died.
How I Began Gliding
I went solo during an intensive week long course while living in the Uk. However, the cost of continuing flying in the UK meant I didnt really get into gliding properly until I moved back to Australia.
